What is SWIFT911 ?
Swift911 is a computerized telephone calling system that can be used to notify you of emergency situations such as severe storm evacuation or a dangerous situation.

How does SWIFT911 work ?
Each resident and business within Clarion Borough (or targeted area) will receive a telephone message with the emergency alert.

Who activates the system ?
Only the Clarion Borough Police Department can activate or send an alert.

I have an unlisted phone number. Will I be listed in the database ?
To be sure you are listed, sign up for Swift911 alerts by providing your information by mail or by logging onto www.clarionboro.org and clicking the Swift911 link at the top left.

How can I be sure that I am listed in the database ?
The Borough’s list of phone numbers comes from a variety of sources. If you receive the test phone call in February, you are listed in the database. If not, register on line or below.

How can I get a text message ?
Simply provide your information by logging onto www.clarionboro.org and click on the Swift911 link at the top left or you may fill out the form below and mail it to us.

I’d rather not be listed – how can I take my name off of the system ?
Simply provide your information by logging onto www.clarionboro.org. Click on the Swift911 link at the top left and select the “Remove” button. You may also put it in writing to the address below.

This notification system is one of the most cost effective of its kind, and will be an invaluable life-saving device for getting information out to the community when threats of severe weather or other dangerous conditions occur.
